OUR STORY

Official Black Wall Street was founded in 2015 by award-winning entrepreneur Mandy Bowman. Inspired by the legacy of Tulsa’s original Black Wall Street and driven by a desire to shop with purpose, she set out to create something lasting and impactful. After witnessing the many challenges Black founders face in starting and scaling their businesses — and realizing how difficult it was to consistently find and support them — she launched OBWS to bridge the gap.
